There was a huge police presence at the demonstration. While I didn't see them take any drastic or overly violent actions, my impression was that their prescence was not so much to keep to peace, but to bully and intimidate the protestors. The protestors sing "We all live in a Big Police State..."

While organizers are busy keeping people together and organized, an overzealous and angry protestor tosses a brick through a government building window.
